Poetry 101311

1. Poetry is  words in a stanza  that sound  different an unique .
2. People who disagree with me are ones that don't  know poetry and  people who agree with me are ones that know a lot of about poetry.
3. Poetry doesn't have to rhyme only if you want it to.
4. Poetry has to make sense because its like telling a story an if it doesn't make sense how would you understand the whole  point of what you wrote.
5. Poetry can make you feel up or down it can courage you or not but based on the type of poetry.

Starry Night by Vicent Van Gogh


1.      Who is Vincent van Gogh?
·         Vincent van Gogh, for whom color was the chief symbol of expression, was born in Groot-Zundert, Holland. The son of a pastor, brought up in a religious and cultured atmosphere, Vincent was highly emotional and lacked self-confidence Vincent van Gogh quit school, when he was only 15 and headed off to England in 1869. There he began a career not as a painter but as an art dealer with the firm Goupil & Cie. Van Gogh spent seven years with the firm, but became unhappy and decided to try his hand teaching at a Catholic school for boys. In the following years, Vincent went from job to job, living in various cities in Europe.
